“You don’t love me.” I was in the mood for a fight.
“I have responsibilities.” Tyler did not look up from his omelette.
“So, the argument you had with your wife was about nothing really.” I shrugged my shoulders and crossed my arms. I shivered.
“I
really cannot remember who started this conversation first. I told you
before that my wife was not up for discussion.” Tyler reached for the
coffee pot.
By now I knew how my lover enjoyed his breakfast. I
jabbed at the congealed egg on my plate with my fork while Tyler
buttered his toast. I was an undergraduate studying towards a social
work degree. Tyler Campodonico was my very married boyfriend.
