The son of vengeance – Part 1 by Thanos Kalamidas
Deep fog all over Växjö Lake made the town a place of eerie sounds and muffled echoes. Sporadic lights and the streetlamps gave the place a spooky feeling in the murky night with their hazy, diminishing gleam. No traffic, no pedestrians looking for settler. It was just past twelve o’clock at night.
Near the east side of the lake a car slipped silently along a vacant street. Two husky, murky looking men in the front seats. They might have been salesmen returning home after a tense meeting, judging by the heavy dark jackets and the thin ties they were both wearing. A big black bag, a smaller one and two pairs of black leather gloves cluttered in the back seats.
“Pull over,” muttered the man besides the driver. Across the sidewalk were the vague outlines of a wooden fence. Further down a yellow light over a wooden door was faintly discernible in the whirling mist.

There are chaotic conditions, there are many adventures, many diversions,
Many frustrations, but who cares about all that?”
